Council failed to maintain pavement

Mrs Rayment of Berkshire suffered a fractured hip requiring an operation when she tripped and fell on uneven and broken paving in Windsor. Fortunately she made an excellent recovery.

We pursued a claim for personal injury on her behalf again the council responsible for inspecting and repairing the pavement.

The council accepted that they had failed to carry out repairs and the claim settled for £5,800.

Claimant Solicitor: Tracy Horton of Paul Rooney Partnership.
