Leg injuries for which compensation is payable range from the severe leading to amputation to the uncomplicated fracture from which a complete recovery is made.

The amount of compensation depends on the nature and extent of any ongoing disability and any problems with mobility.

Amputation of both legs above knee - £140,500 to £165,000

Amputation of one leg above knee - £56,000 to £81,500

Other serious injuries to the leg - £32,000 to £49,350

Other moderate injuries to the leg - £16,300 to £22,650

Other minor  injuries to the leg - £1,000 to £5,350
