Shoulder injuries for which compensation is claimed range from the dislocation resulting in damage to the brachial plexus muscle to the soft tissue injury from which a full recovery is made.

The amount of compensation depends on the nature and extent of any ongoing disability and limitation of movement.

Severe - £11,200 to £28,000

Serious - £7,375 to £11,200

Moderate - £4,575 to £7,375

Minor - £2,550 to £4,575

A fracture to the shoulder will usually attract a payment up to £7,125
